Friends Reunion

Dana, Alexa, Me, Kaylynn, and Keri

This past weekend, my best friends from High School and I all got together. We couldn't remember how long it had been since our last reunion, but it has been a few years! (Way too long!) Most of us live in Utah, but we are all scattered along the Wasatch Front, and one of us lives in Hawaii! It was so great to see everyone and all of the kids. Between the 5 of us, we have 17 kids. I have 2, Keri has 4, Kaylynn has 4, and Dana and Alexa each have 3. Crazy, and I'm sure there are more to come!

I had so much fun, and it was great to see you guys! Maybe next time we meet, we'll have to eat at Arby's for old times sake! Love you guys! (How come I'm the only one who looks like I eat at Arby's every day??) You all look great!

It has started already!

Hannah likes to wear these tennis shoes she has, but her feet often stink when she wears them becasue she doesn't wear socks. We thought that if we got her some new socks, she would want to wear them with her shoes, so we went sock shopping at Ross. We gave her several options to choose from, and she was being very picky. She finally decided on some that were cute, but not as frilly as some of the others.

When we got out to the car, I said to Hannah "I hope you like these socks because you were being pretty picky about them."

Then she answered, "Well, I like these ones a lot because they are 'Sketchers', and they go with my shoes." Tom and I were both shocked after that comment, we both looked at her and said, "What? How do you know anything about Sketchers?" She replied that she had seen them on T.V. (she is right, the socks match her shoes because they are Sketchers too, but we had never mentioned it to her.) Man, I knew brand names might be important, but I never expected it at 4 yrs old!!! (maybe by 14 years old, she won't care!) Silly Hannah!

Hill Air Force Week!

It was Air Force this week in Utah, and we are lucky enough to live close to Hill Air Force Base. (not so lucky when the F16's fly over the house and scare everyone to death!!)
We went up there today and saw a bunch of cool fighter planes, helicopters, and jets. The weather was cold and stormy, otherwise, we would have stayed longer. We got to see a lot of the Thunderbirds performance, which was way cool too! It's amazing what they can do in the air! (There was a downpour about 15 min into the show!)
