Advice

Oaky, so I need some advice. We learned that we are having a little girl, and we are so excited! So the question is, what do we do about the kids' bedroom situation....Right now Ian and Hannah both have their own rooms. I am trying to decide if I should move them into the same room so that the baby will have her own nursery for ahwile, or if I should try to put the new baby in Hannah's room with her. Of course the baby will sleep at night for a couple of months in our room with us, but after that, I just don't know what to do. It's kind of nice for those long nights if the baby has thier own room, but then again, maybe I can just use the livingroom, etc.....Hannah is a pretty deep sleeper, which is good, but I don't think she would sleep through a fussy, crying baby. What does everyone else think I should do? What have you guys done? Any advice would be very helpful!! Thanks!

Hannah singing "Mean old witch."

Tom's mom baby-sat for us the other night, and taught Hannah this cute Halloween song while we were gone. We got a cute perfromance when we returned home! With some more practice, Hannah will be singing on broadway one day!!

It's true...I am PREGNANT!

Yes, we were trying to have a baby. We felt like we wanted to have just one more. It took awhile to want another one after having Ian, but I think we are ready. (I'm not sure if you are ever really ready.) Anyway, we have been trying since June, which for me was starting to take awhile because with Ian and Hannah it happened on the first or second try. I know four months is really not that long, but I'm glad it didn't take much longer. I feel so bad for the moms or moms- to- be out there who have problems conceiving and have to wait forever! That must be so hard and frustrating! We were actually going to stop trying because I didn't want to chance having a baby in the summer or early fall....I am already hot blooded as it is!!! I was actually just getting ready to do the HCG diet and had received the shots when I found out that I was expecting.....luckily, I have someone else who wants them! Hoepfully after the baby I will be ablet to do the diet because I am surely going to need it!!! (I have never weighed more than I do now except for the day I delivered!!!

Ian's 3rd Birthday

My little baby is now three years old! I didn't get very many pics of him from the birthday party, but here are a couple. Just a few things about Ian right now:

1. He is still OBSESSIVE about rocking in his rocking chair. He does not sleep well at night. Most nights, he comes into our bedroom, or sleeps in "his chair" in the livingroom.

2. He LOVES cars, especially the cars from the movie, "Cars."

3. Ian is so sweet. His bossy sister Hannah always gets her way. She bosses Ian around a lot, and he is good to take it. If he knows that something will upset Hannah, he gives her her way! What a nice brother!

4. He likes to play outside, jump on the tramp, swing on the swingset, ride his scooter and bigwheel, play with any cars in the house, and drive his dumptruck around the house.

5. Ian is so sweet and sensitive. It is so cute when he asks for a kiss. This usually only happens after I apply my mint flavored lip gloss, but I'll do whatever it takes to get a big wet one from him!

Yellowstone

I decided that maybe for Christmas this year, I will ask for Photoshop. There are always way too many pics to choose from and never enough space. (or time, since my computer is so slow at posting pics!) We went to Yellowstone Park a few weeks ago with my parents. It was fun, but a little bit chilly!

Does anyone know how to fix the slideshow so that you can see the whole picture? I used to have a slideshow a long time ago, but took if off. Now that I created a new one, I can't get the formatting right! I've spent way to long trying to change it today. HELP!!!!

Dinner at The Mayan with Nana and Grandpa Bryant

Tom's parents took us to dinner at the Mayan a couple of weeks ago. We had a great table where we could see the cliff divers so well! The kids had a lot of fun there! Thanks again for dinner Jon and Linda!

Do you think I should let her play with these?

While at the 4th of July parade, my mom got each of the kids a toy at one of the vendors in the park. Hannah picked out these generic barbies that she wanted. We laughed histarically when we got home and read the box! They didn't even spell China right! I'm sure these are filled with LEAD! Pretty funny....

Hannah in 4th of July Parade

Unfortunately I didn't get any cute close ups of Hannah, but she was a cute flower girl. If you look closely, you can see her in the front of float in a pink dress. They were on a float representing Jimmy's Flower shop. (I was also in the parad holding a sign, but opted NOT to post any of those!)

My sister-in-law has started a new photography business. She has so many talents, and among them is photography. Since I am not very computer saavy, I haven't figured out yet how to put a link on my sidebar to advertise for her. The new pics of the kids that I have added are ones that Melinda recently took. We went to Antelope Island to take them, which was pretty interesting. There was a beautiful sunset, but it was stinky, a huge hike to get out to where the water was, and there were TONS of bugs and flies, etc...everywhere. It was kind of gross, but the pics still turned out great! If you click on the pics of the kids, it should take you to Melinda's website. Thanks again, Melinda!

Friends Reunion

Dana, Alexa, Me, Kaylynn, and Keri

This past weekend, my best friends from High School and I all got together. We couldn't remember how long it had been since our last reunion, but it has been a few years! (Way too long!) Most of us live in Utah, but we are all scattered along the Wasatch Front, and one of us lives in Hawaii! It was so great to see everyone and all of the kids. Between the 5 of us, we have 17 kids. I have 2, Keri has 4, Kaylynn has 4, and Dana and Alexa each have 3. Crazy, and I'm sure there are more to come!

I had so much fun, and it was great to see you guys! Maybe next time we meet, we'll have to eat at Arby's for old times sake! Love you guys! (How come I'm the only one who looks like I eat at Arby's every day??) You all look great!

It has started already!

Hannah likes to wear these tennis shoes she has, but her feet often stink when she wears them becasue she doesn't wear socks. We thought that if we got her some new socks, she would want to wear them with her shoes, so we went sock shopping at Ross. We gave her several options to choose from, and she was being very picky. She finally decided on some that were cute, but not as frilly as some of the others.

When we got out to the car, I said to Hannah "I hope you like these socks because you were being pretty picky about them."

Then she answered, "Well, I like these ones a lot because they are 'Sketchers', and they go with my shoes." Tom and I were both shocked after that comment, we both looked at her and said, "What? How do you know anything about Sketchers?" She replied that she had seen them on T.V. (she is right, the socks match her shoes because they are Sketchers too, but we had never mentioned it to her.) Man, I knew brand names might be important, but I never expected it at 4 yrs old!!! (maybe by 14 years old, she won't care!) Silly Hannah!

Hill Air Force Week!

It was Air Force this week in Utah, and we are lucky enough to live close to Hill Air Force Base. (not so lucky when the F16's fly over the house and scare everyone to death!!)
We went up there today and saw a bunch of cool fighter planes, helicopters, and jets. The weather was cold and stormy, otherwise, we would have stayed longer. We got to see a lot of the Thunderbirds performance, which was way cool too! It's amazing what they can do in the air! (There was a downpour about 15 min into the show!)

Some more Random pics of my cuties!!

Here are Hannah and Ian dressed for Church a couple of weeks ago. This is one of Hannah's Easter dresses. She got one from us, and one from Grandma. Hannah is such a little Girly Girl. She likes dresses more than toys!

We went to Vegas a few weeks ago to see Aunt Tara and Uncle Cody and thier family. It would have been a fun time if I hadn't of gotten sick while I was there! Boo!

I managed to get out a couple of days while we were in Vegas. We always love visiting Billagio gardens!

In the gardens at the Billagio Hotel.

This was such a cute picture of Ian. He was so tired the other day that he fell asleep on the counter watching TV.

Random Pics

If Ian poops one more time in the tub, I doubt Hannah will continue to bathe with him! (I don't blame her!)
This is Hannah with her baby "Emily." She absolutely loves this doll.
Ian his chair. He LOVES this chair and spends a lot of his time here!

Cute Ian in his carseat. (which he hates.)

Cute Hannah asleep!

My kids have been sick that past few days with pneumonia. Luckily, they are doing better today! Hooray! Here are some cute pics of them that I have taken lately!

ARGGGG, RED HAIR!!!!

Lately when I get my hair colored, I have been putting some red in it. I really like the red, but it fades fast. This time, I decided to go drastic, and have them put mainly red in my hair. I didn't want it to be quite this RED though!! After I spent a ton of money coloring it, I went home and bought color from the store, and put a Dark brown over the top of it. It is actually much better now, but still quite red. I am getting used to it now though, and am kind of liking it. This is a picture of me before I put the brown in....pretty RED huh?? Just call me carrot Top!

Friends night Out!

There's a group of us from the ward who get together sometimes and hang out. We love our ward and neighborhood, and have made some great friends here! I took a few pics from the last time we hung out together, which was a couple of weeks ago at our house....

Sorry

So first of all, I apologize that I haven't updated my blog for a while. I am actually considering not doing it anymore because I don't seem to have the time, and I don't think that too many people actually read it. A big part of doing this, is so that my relatives and parents can see what's going on with the kids, etc..and my mom never even looks at it! She complains that she doesn't see the kids often enough, but doesn't look at the blog...go figure! Anyway, sorry if you don't see updates on here often or if you don't see me checking your blogs out often enough! I promise I will when I get the time!!! Aghhhhhh!! ( It doesn't help that the only thing I have wanted to do this past winter is SLEEP. It has been a rough season!)

My little Ones

IAN
Age 2 yrs 6 mos
Ian is our little trouble maker, but he's just sooo cute, it's hard to stay mad at him for very long. He loves cars, trains, and pushing his dump truck around the house (and teasing Hunter with it.)
Ian is a MAJOR drooler! I have never seen a kid drool as much as he does. We were told that he is cutting molars, but he has always had a problem. Most days we change his shirt a couple of times because it is drenched with spit!! It is soooo gross! Has anyone else had this problem? I never seen kids his age drool that much!! Besides drooling, he has always had an obsession with rocking. He has a rocking chair that he loves. He goes there when he is upset, tired, or just because. It's hard to keep him from going out of his room at night to sleep in "his chair". He is so cute, but has some weird habits! Anyone have any thoughts on this?

HANNAH
Age 4 yrs 3 mos
Hannah is such a "girly girl." I have really enjoyed it so far, but lately the princess thing is getting to be a little out of control. All of her make believe friends are the princesses, esp Belle and Cinderella, as they are her favorites. She argues with us every day about what she is going to wear and what we are doing with her hair. Sheis very particular about everything, even her shoes! The problem is, she wants to either wear a dress every day, or dress up in her princess costumes. It's okay if we are just at home, but ususally we go out sometime during the day. (and preschool, she just wants to wear princess clothes.) The main toys she plays with are those little princess figurines too. Other than that, she has a doll named "Emily" that is quite the mother to. (Emily has to go everywhere with us.) Hannah is such a doll, and a little "Princess!"
